Borusan arts exhibition, to which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muharrem BALCI contributed with his article titled "Cultural Eutrophication in the Anthropocene Age", is open to visitors at Perili Köşk until 18/08/2024.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muharrem BALCI, a faculty member of our department, participated as an invited scientist in the culture and arts event called MAT COLLISHAW: ARITMI, which was realized with the contributions of Borusan Contemporary. They discussed human-induced environmental problems in the context of nature and human relations, through climate change, sea pollution and excessive algae growth, specifically the Marmara Sea and mucilage formation with Art director and curator Alice SHARP and contemporary artist Mat COLLISHAW. M. BALCI came together in Istanbul with two valuable artists who made great contributions to the meeting of scientists and society in order to develop social environmental awareness in the world and enabled the worlds of art and science to touch each other. Borusan Contemporary will host a contemporary art collection exhibition under the title of 'Arrhythmia, Digital Mythologies' within the scope of the culture and art exhibition program, to which Muharrem BALCI contributed to the exhibition booklet titled "ARRHYTHMIA" with his article titled "Cultural Eutrophication in the Anthropocene Era", can be visited at Perili Köşk between 16-18 August 2024.
